The Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government has been implementing supporting policies to the development of Suqian in recent years, and Suqian is the only Provincial Comprehensive Reforming Experimental City of Economic and Social Development in Jiangsu province. To conform to the current situation, the whole city of Suqian absorb and learn advanced experience from home and aboard actively in the process of practicing accelerating regional economic and social development. The economic development environment has been greatly optimized since the all-round promoting deregulating and revitalizing promotion. Concretely, the government constantly deepens the examination and approval system reform and has checked up the administrative examination and approval projects and administration charges collection projects for three times. As a result, in 28 cities in Jiangsu Province and Huaihai Economic Zone, Suqian has least examination and approval projects and charges collection projects, lowest charges collection standard and least total volume of charges. Now in the right scope of Suqian government, there are 11 examination and approval projects, 49 approval projects and 10 informing and promising projects. The number pf charges collection projects has reduced to 270 from the original 317, and only 49 charges collection projects are related to enterprises in development zone. The total amount of collected charges is reduced by 13% and the collected charges involving the industrial enterprises are reduced by 30%.
